Now I figure out why I make that mistake with bats! I saw that sculpture, but I commented in another.
(Sorry If I made a mistake with words too. My English is not very well.)

Your work just oozes personality. The birds are made from paper...no? They are very graceful, but I'm really loving his shoes they make me chuckle.

Thank you, and I am delighted the shoes make you chuckle! :)

No paper in the birds. Wire, sheet metal, epoxy putty were used for the armature. The externals surface is cloth saturated with acrylic (which is very similar to paper, really).

Fantastic work! The balance and delicate attachment of the crows must have been very trying on your patience! I can really appreciate that above the fact of it being a great piece!

thank you! :) Your insight is accurate...I was very happy to finish sculpting those birds. The last night of sculpting I worked until 2 AM because I didn't want to wake up the next morning to more bird sculpting...of course in the morning I did find some bird work that had to be fixed, but at least I felt that I was done :)

lol...at some point emoticons just can't do justice to the thought at hand. And now I've made the mistake of going and looking at what is available. It has reminded me that I need to brush my teeth 4 out of 5 dentists recommend brushing your teeth! (as well as my tongue Lick )...this is dangerous...I will stop now.
